Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 3 - Strahan

This is the beach on Macquarie Harbour at West Strahan. In 2012 they set the world waterskiing record here with 145 skiers pulled by the Cruise Boat. The steam train mural on the picnic shed depicts the locals all travelling here for the annual Mt Lyell picnic day held since 1987.
